Advancing Diversity and Inclusion at Stanford
President Marc Tessier-Lavigne and Provost Persis Drell launched the university-wide Presidential Initiative IDEAL--Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access in a Learning Environment--in May of 2018. Under IDEAL, design teams from across the university have developed plans related to faculty, staff, and student engagement, education and recruitment.
