Tuesday Race Talks with Stanford's Center for Racial Justice: Qualified Immunity

This discussion will outline the history of qualified immunity and how it can serve to shield government actors from liability for misconduct. Speakers will discuss the real-world application of the doctrine and whether it is time for a change.  Guest speakers will be Professor Fred Smith (SLS '07), Emory University School of Law, and Professor Norman Spaulding (SLS '97).
