Stanford Libraries is hosting the 1st Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Fair to highlight the social justice projects and efforts that have taken place within our Libraries over the past year, as well as to highlight projects to come and to showcase our existing social justice collections. The JEDI Fair will feature speakers: University Librarian Michael Keller; the Libraries new Racial Justice and Social Equity Librarian Felicia Smith; Senior Associate Vice Provost for Undergrad Education and Professor in Humanities Gordon Chang; and George Brown, Stanford's new Director of the Center for Racial Justice. Each of them will speak broadly on the topic of racial justice and more specifically on what it means within their disciplines and departments. A questions and answers period will follow. See live demonstrations of the Know Systemic Racism (KSR) database and highlights from the Libraries existing social justice collections and receive fun giveaways. Come expecting to leave empowered to help end racism!
