Join us for this participatory event in honor of the migrant deaths along the U.S. Mexico border. The Hostile Terrain 94 exhibit, conceived by the Undocumented Migration Project, consists of a large wall map of the U.S. Mexico border with over 3,000 tags pinned to it, representing migrants who died during the crossing due to inhumane border policies between 1994 and the present day. Each tag is filled out by volunteers. Fond out more about Hostile Terrain 94 here.
Fill out new tags of the deceased as we build an altar so that these migrant souls may be remembered.
Light refreshments will be served outdoors. Please note this event is open to Stanford affiliates only; Stanford ID required.
