Disaster Preparedness : How Those with Disabilities and Allies Can Respond During Times Of Crisis

Join us for an engaging panel of local and campus experts about disaster preparedness for individuals with disabilities. During wildfire season in California, it is crucial to have a solid emergency plan. Combined with the multiplying heatwaves and other extreme weather events, planning for our vulnerable disabled populations is becoming even more critical, as they face additional risks and challenges during times of crisis.  

Panelists include representatives of the Stanford Medicine Office of Emergency Management, City of Palo Alto, Pacific Gas & Electric, the Red Cross, and Silicon Valley Independent Living Center.
