Since the founding of East Palo Alto Academy (EPAA) in 2001, the public charter school in Sequoia Union High School District has enjoyed a special relationship with Stanford University and the Stanford Graduate School of Education. Collaborations between EPAA and Stanford include: professional development for EPAA teachers, support for the EPAA College and Career Center, and opportunities for research and service for Stanford students on the EPAA campus.
